Green Day’s debut EP was released on Lookout! Records in April of 1989 (exact date unknown). The EP was recorded at Art of Ears Studio and produced by Andy Ernst and Green Day.
39/Smooth
The bands’ first studio album was released by Lookout! Records on vinyl & cassette. 39/Smooth was recorded between Dec ’89 & Jan ’90 at Art of Ears Studios and was produced by Andy Ernst and Green Day.
Slappy EP
Green Day’s second EP was released in the summer of 1990 (exact date unknown) on Lookout! Records. The EP was recorded on April 20, 1990 at Art of Ears Studios and was produced by Andy Ernst and Green Day.
Sweet Children EP
The final EP release of original material from Green Day. The EP’s title was taken from the band’s original moniker. Recorded on July 5, 1990 at 6ft Under Studios (Minneapolis, MN) and released in August (exact date unknown) on Skene! Records.
1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours
The bands first compilation album was released on Lookout! Records and remains in print to this day. The album contained all the songs from 39/Smooth, 1,000 Hours and Slappy as well as the song ‘I Want To Be Alone’ from Flipside Records “The Big One” compilation.
Kerplunk
The band’s final release on Lookout! Records. The following month a CD/cassette version of the album was released adding the songs from the Sweet Children EP. The album was recorded in the summer of ’91 at Art of Ears Studios and was produced by Andy Ernst and the band.
Dookie
Green Day’s major label debut album for Reprise Records was recorded at Fantasy Studios between Sept & Oct ’93. The album was produced by Rob Cavallo and Green Day.
